What do a Digital Marketing Consultant and Growth hacker do?
Well, I’m glad you asked – Here’s just a few of my day-to-day work tasks:
Advising clients on digital strategies and campaigns, to create online visibility and reach target markets online and drive traffic to both brick-and-mortar stores and websites.
Planning and developing digital marketing strategies and activities.
Planning and executing transitions from analogue strategy to omni-channel strategy utilising both offline and online activities as both marketing and sales channels.
Consulting developers in building custom websites and setting up digital business entities on various platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Google My Business, Twitter, etc.)
Consulting creative teams in production of creatives and ad copy utilised in digital campaign activities.
Implementing tracking solutions enabling clients to measure the effectiveness of all digital advertising and marketing activities and campaigns.
Performing market research and analysing user behaviour to support business development and market growth.
Advising clients on budget distribution when executing digital campaign activities ensuring the highest possible ROI (Return on Investment) and ROAS (Return On Advertising Spend)
Developing and executing campaigns on digital platforms (i.e. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
My journey in marketing and advertising
In 2006 I joined Addvisors ApS, a digital agency specialising in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), where I got explicitly educated in digital marketing.
After a few years with Addvisors I was headhunted to help startup a Digital Department at the Danish office of Starcom Media West/Zenith Optimedia, where I over two years helped both local and international customers develop and execute digital marketing campaigns supporting and strengthening their “conventional” advertising activities.
I left Starcom in 2010 to work as the Digital Marketing Manager for Bolius A/S, where I helped Bolius transition their existing marketing and advertising activities from analog to digital.
Being spearhead of the digital team I planned, organised and executed digital marketing activities utilising Google, Facebook, Linkedin. Secondly, I negotiated digital partnerships with local media utilising our partners’ digital platforms.
In 2012 I decided to start up my own business and became a founding partner of no such agency ApS.
no such agency ApS is an agency providing full-service digital solutions, including but not limited to, website production, developing digital strategy, implementing and executing digital marketing and advertising activities, tracking and analysing online user behaviour, conducting market research specifically in the digital landscape.
In 2017 I sold my shares at no such agency ApS and travelled to Australia, where I helped a national retail business ‘rewamp’ their online presence and take the next step into going global.
